As most of your already know, our other website is going to remain the focal point for all of the IronRhinoEA forward testing detailed statements and creative charts. As always, we will work very hard to update all results of the IronRhino and keep our visitors informed.
The New IronRhino v 3.0 Our latest IronRhino update is a powerful expert advisor which analyzes several currency pairs after a news event occurs. This outstanding strategy incorporates the news feed at Forex Factory calendar. Keep an eye on these events and you will see the IronRhino 3.0 stay out of the losing trades and get the winning trades a large percentage of the time. The IronRhino 3.0 EA will trade only after the news has come out in a window of time one hour after the economic news event has been released. In this window of time is the highest probability of a strong move in the market and we will try to get as much of the move as we can. The IronRhino 3.0 will only trade during a news impact of 2 or 3. It will not trade during a news event of low impact. Any news event that affects the currency pair can receive a trade. For example, if the news affects the CHF then only a trade could occur on USD/CHF. If the news affects the USD then trades could occur on all of the pairs with the USD in it. The new IronRhino v 3.0 also has the ability to trade outside news events when extreme volotility occurs. It is a good idea to have it running on a VPS 24/7 ! Many of our clients expressed an interest in having the ability to get in or out of a string of trades on their own. We listened to them and created a CloseOut EA that allows the trader to exit the market at any time they wish. Nothing can be more important than money management when you trade the foreign exchange market. You will notice the advanced money management inputs we encourage our clients to use. We get many emails looking for backtested results and I would like to give you our opinion on them. We believe that testing any forex strategy is necessary and should be used to see how your system would have done in the past. What we don't believe, and what many people do believe is the importance of such tests. It is not hard to curb fit any system to make it profitable. A simple optimization of even the worst forex systems can render positive results. How the IronRhino performed in 2004 is of no value to our clients in 2008. If you depend on bloated backtested results on many of the websites out there, you will be severely disappointed.
